Purchased this for bowhunting and wore it about 6 times.
The good: looks like the picture, jute is thick.
The bad: The face doesn't have any cover after trimming back some jute for vision. I ended up sewing some just under my eye line to cover my face. Also, the smell. I buried it in earth for a week, it didn't work. I gave it a mud bath and let it soak for another week. Jute smell is still strong.
The ugly: the garment material is just cheap and thin. I compare it to shoot thru mesh on a ground blind. I've had 3 buttons pull out of the material which of course restricts my ability to fasten it in the front.
Noteworthy: the jute on the lower body picks up EVERYTHING.
End state: I would not purchase this again. Fix the button situation, and I'd reconsider that statement.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention and we're sorry that the buttons on the ghillie suit pulled out. Expect an email from us shortly so we can make things right!
Color scheme is good I like that my only problem with mine is the stitching on the legs the strands are falling out.
I love the suit and it arrived very fast.
Love the mobility and how it works with my being able to make and take beautiful pictures of animals as well as hunting. Love it
The ghillie suit is well made and does very well blending into the surroungings.
The only problem is there is no way to maintain tension around your waist. The way it's made, you need suspenders to keep the pants up.
