Arcturus Camo's lightweight waterproof all purpose poncho is extra long to cover past your knees. At 54" wide x 48" long, it is the perfect size for the average and tall adult.

The poncho is made from 210T Ripstop Taffeta which is coated with 2 layers of waterproof PU coating. This makes our poncho waterproof and sturdy yet lightweight. The poncho comes in its own compact carry bag that packs to a small 8"x4" and weighs under 11 oz (310 grams) which is less than half the weight of other ponchos.

The poncho features an extra large hood and head opening. You can comfortably wear a baseball cap under the hood.

The length of the poncho is also longer than the standard size.  At 54" wide x 48" long, it will cover past the knees of a 6' person

The poncho can also be used as a tent or ground tarp measuring 54" x 96" (slightly over 4'x8'). It has large metal grommets on all 4 corners so that you can tie it down, make a lean to shelter, or an V-tent.

This has multiple uses.  It's great for hunters, backpackers, to keep inside of your survival kit, or to keep dry at a sporting even or while camping.  It's compact and lightweight which makes it easy to take anywhere.

Still to short (when using a large, 85 liter, backpack with top)

Still looking for a poncho that roughly goes as low as my knees WHEN wearing an 85 liter backpack that includes a top.
Nowadays virtually all poncho manufactures assume everybody is going (ultra)light and without the top.
Lengthwise this poncho is only marginal better. But still not suitable given my specific criteria. Nothing wrong with the poncho itself though.

Seems nice and probably works great but it is super loud so using for hunting may be out

Great Poncho

I've used my poncho through spring, summer and late fall so far and I couldn't be happier with it.

I've used it as rain gear, a wind blocking outer layer, a shelter, and spread out in front of me on a framework of branches as a blind, while bow hunting.

As stated in the description, the poncho is longer than many of the others out there. It comes down lower on my legs, past my boot tops, so it doesn't funnel water into my boots like the other ponchos I've used over the years. And the head hole is big enough that it slides easily over my head without having to fight it. I like the fact that the hood is roomy enough to wear a hat under it, too.

There really isn't anything that I don't like about my Arcturus rain poncho. It keeps me dry, It packs down small, it weighs next to nothing, it's well made and it has held up to use as well, if not better, than other brands I've owned costing more. It's a great product. Great customer service, too.
