The smell takes a bit to dissipate, but it's lovely once it has. It's a bit on the rougher side, and a little thinner, but it's durable and it's warm. Wouldn't recommend this by it's lonesome if you have wind, but would work as intended (lowest layer) for insulation. At least, that's how I learned to use it. Personally, we're in Alaska and we use these for bedding. We use cotton underneath, cause we're indoors and not outdoors, haha. Quilt over the top seals the deal. Toasty all night with windows open for that cold-on-your-face feel..
My mom and I just moved to vermont. We are loving these blankets. Warm but not too bulky.
Unbelievable quality for the price. I shopped around trying to find a 100% wool blanket that was affordable without sacrificing quality. This is it.
This blanket is the real deal and for a great price. I intend on this being a year round versatile piece and so far it’s working great for the fall. It is soft and not scratchy but I am use to wool (I wear a wool trail shirt most days) so I might be a little jaded/use to it. I would say not soft as merino but it’s not that.
I looked around at what was available on the market and this is a great buy IMO.
Thanks
Gorgeous and warm blanket.
