The Arcturus Outdoor Survival Blanket is now extra large! We've redesigned this survival blanket to include grommets that are 35% thicker than the original design. The new claw-style grommets are designed to grab the reinforced nylon patches rather than press into the patches.

NOW EXTRA LARGE! At 8.5' X 12', this is the Granddaddy to our standard-size survival blanket with the same legendary quality. Weighs in at 4.4 lbs.

MANY USES: Can be used as a ground tarp, shelter, tent or emergency blanket when camping, hunting, backpacking or boating. Keep one in the trunk of your car.

ALL WEATHER BLANKET: This unique blanket features a Mylar reflective side which can be used to reflect heat, create a radiant barrier or signal for help. The other side is made of a two layers of polypropylene, which can be used as a blanket, tarp or shelter.

Bigger and bigger and better

Nice large version of the space blanket excellent for quick up and down shelter reflection of heat for warmth heavy duty and reusable

Wow!

This arrived in a box with the smaller version also and it’s definitely heavier! I like all the tie down points, and it’s definitely superior to the market average. It’s big enough to be a ground cover and overhead tarp at the same time and I like that, it overcomes the weight. I’ll use it camping for sure! It’s already got a spot in the truck for emergency use and bonus…. One less thing to pack up when I do go camping! It’s perfect!

I haven’t used the tarp yet, but I will be definitely next spring/summer for a sun shade when I’m doing my outdoor activities. -1 star for the bag the tarp comes in being ripped along the stitching for the zipper.

Best Product for intended use.

I used these on top of my 12' x 18' camping tent. I was at the Texas Coast, PINS for ten days. If you have never been to the south Texas coast in the summer it is hot and windy. The Arcturus reflective canvas blankets held up great the entire time. Well wort the money.
