RAINIER WOOL BLANKETS striped blankets with Washington flair.

These new striped blankets are named for some of our favorite outdoor spots in our home state.

HEAVY AND WARM - The Arcturus wool blanket weighs 4.5 lbs with a density of 550 GSM (that means nice and thick). This blanket will keep you warm, period.

GREAT LOOKING, LONG LASTING - Loom-woven and hemmed on all sides with contrast lock stitching, our blanket looks right at home in the field or on your couch, while standing up to rugged use and abuse.

PLENTY OF ROOM FOR ALL - Large size (64" x 88") size will keep you and a friend cozy while camping, at a tailgate, football game, or an outdoor concert, or just as an emergency blanket in your vehicle.

70% WOOL - Wool is a time-tested natural fabric that will keep you warm, even when wet. The remainder of the blanket is composed of 30% hypoallergenic synthetic fibers for durability and washability. Wool is a naturally fire-retardant material. The blanket itself is not treated with any additional flame-retardant chemicals, making it safe for you and your family.

MACHINE WASHABLE - We make it easy to care for your new blanket. Not only are they washable, but they get softer and softer with each wash. We recommend using a detergent formulated specifically for wool for best results. Like all loom-woven blankets, this blanket will shed during the first few washes.

To keep shedding to an absolute minimum. we recommend hand washing your blanket in cold water. You may also machine wash your blanket separately in cold water on a delicate cycle. However, to maximize the life of your blanket (and to avoid unnecessary shedding), we recommend washing your blanket by hand.

To extend the life of your blanket, we also recommend line drying. Dryers are hard on clothes and blankets alike, and line drying is much gentler.

Great multi-purpose blanket

We got this blanket for outdoor winter gatherings in our back yard and it has been great. We use it for guests, making sleeping bags warmer, and generally keeping cozy. We bought two and would definitely buy again.

I found the perfect blanket!

Wow, these are amazing! We own a number of vacation rentals and love the look and feel of the original Pendletons (Newer ones seem to be of lower quality), but they’re so expensive and I didn’t want to risk spending so much on blankets that would likely not stand up to the abuse and wear and tear that our bedding sees. I ordered a dozen of these blankets in two of the colors, and they are incredible. Right out of the box, they are soft to the touch and feel substantial, they lay beautifully across the end of our queen and double beds. We had to wash one after our recent guests checked out, as there was a small spill and some dog hair on it, and it washed absolutely beautifully, coming out even softer than before. Our guests love them and want to know where to buy them, so hoping to send lots of business to Arcturus! I’m thrilled we found them! Plus customer service was top notch, and delivery was super fast!

perfect wool blanket

I have 8 of these wool blankets. They are really better than army issue blankets they are 6 inches longer. And they are just as warm. Spent 20 years in army and know know what a good wool blanket is. These blankets can be used on bed ,camping, survival, or in car. Buy now some day they will be like everything else hard to find or not found anywhere. The blankets DO NOT SMELL BAD. Some reviews say they do but the people are what I call very city like people. I will recommend to everyone to buy several of them. For the quality you can not find a better blanket.

Love these blankets!

We bought eight of these fabulous and cozy blankets for our guests at the Featherbed Inn in Waitsfield, Vermont to snuggle up with while sitting around our fire pit. Everyone loves them. Highly recommended.

Sent to a Lakota family on Pine Ridge Reservation and they thought they were lovely.
