This makes blankets #2 & #3. First one purchased was thanks too Corporal's Corner (YouTube) & completely what I wanted in quality and the details that matter. That went right into my backpack. So impressed with it, I got one for the car and another for a go-bag. The pouch is perfect for some pegs and paracord too. Don't waste $ going elsewhere.
Went on a 3 night hunt for coyotes with friends and I have to say I was very satisfied. My setup I built a low profile A frame tent to sleep during the daylight, nice and dark when I enclosed the ends.
I’ll have to wait for cold weather test but I’m sure it’ll work fine.
I saw this product on Corporal's Corner and he pointed out all the features. This product had just what I was looking to purchase. I first bought just 1 in the Woodland Camo and after seeing it, my wife said let's get a couple more for the cars. I have since purchased 2 more in Black. I find this product to be "outstanding".
I saw this product being used on a YouTube video. The person switched from the same product I used to carry-and for good reasons. I just had to see for myself and am I glad I did. This new reflecting/camo tarp has some serious upgrades to what I am used to. I am hard on my gear and found myself replacing my old gear after a few trips into the woods. It was the same price basically as my new gear by Arcturus Gear so trying this nee gear was not a money thing. As anyone that spends outside time in the woods will tell you-it will rain when it is not suppose to. That being said keeping a tarp ready to go in your hiking bag is a must. I keep the ridge line set up on this tarp and it still goes back in the holding/carrying pouch it comes with. That in itself is a plus. I use the pouch after I set up the cover tarp as a basket/bucket to collect items. Pine needles, mushrooms, tinder, edibles, etc. I get this extra piece of gear that doubles as a tarp pouch. Not bad. The grommets are sizably larger than my old equipment. They also hold up so much better. You can put some serious force behind the prusik note and it does not rip the grommets out. The old gear would show signs of coming loose after the first use. It is large enough for my 6’6” 275lb body to be under and stay dry. The reflective side allows a nice heat to bounce from my fire on me to keep me warm. The camp side blends in well with the surroundings. Stitching is firm and complete. 7 outings and counting - so far so good. The old gear would have given out at least once by now. Glad I switched.
Haven't used it yet but I can tell it is a quality item.
