HEAVY AND WARM - The Arcturus wool blanket weighs 4.5 lbs, with a density of 550 GSM (that means nice and thick). This blanket will keep you warm, period.

GREAT LOOKING, LONG LASTING - Loom-woven and hemmed on all sides with contrast lock stitching, our blanket looks right at home in the field or on your couch, while standing up to rugged use and abuse.

PLENTY OF ROOM FOR ALL - Large size (64" x 88") will keep you and a friend cozy while camping, at a tailgate, football game, or an outdoor concert, or just as an emergency blanket in your vehicle.

80% WOOL - Wool is a time-tested natural fabric that will keep you warm, even when wet. The remainder of the blanket is composed of 20% hypoallergenic synthetic fibers for durability and washability. Wool is a naturally fire-retardant material. The blanket itself is not treated with any additional flame-retardant chemicals, making it safe for you and your family.

MACHINE WASHABLE - We make it easy to care for your new blanket. Not only are they washable, but they get softer and softer with each wash. We recommend using a detergent formulated specifically for wool for best results. Like all loom-woven blankets, this blanket will shed during the first few washes.

To keep shedding to an absolute minimum. we recommend hand washing your blanket in cold water. You may also machine wash your blanket separately in cold water on a delicate cycle. However, to maximize the life of your blanket (and to avoid unnecessary shedding), we recommend washing your blanket by hand.

To extend the life of your blanket, we also recommend line drying. Dryers are hard on clothes and blankets alike, and line drying is much gentler.

I really like these blankets. I bought 2 for myself and 1 as a gift, and they're great; just like a wool blanket ought to look, feel, smell, and function. Good weight with a nice lay.
The main thing I want to commend, however, is the customer service. One of my blankets came with a flaw, and when I contacted them in order to replace the blanket they just told me to simply keep it, or donate it to someone in need, and then sent me another one lickety-split.
That's some good juju right there.
This is a great product at a great price, with apparently great people behind it.

Soft for a wool blanket

Love the wool blankets. I bought one of each color. I sleep with one every sheets for me. I love wool. The others are emergency blankets for the vehicles. To me they are not scratchy but rather soft. It seemed to shed a little when new, but I just put it on a mild tumble in the dryer with no heat and that removed some of the lint. I've done that twice and it doesn't shed much anymore.

bought Blankets for three oldest Grand children to use at college. Oh yeah, I care about my Grands so the blankets must be good,

Great blanket - heavy, warm and well made

This blanket looks good and feels good. Comfortable and well made

Didn't think anyone made a good blanket anymore.

Bought a couple for our bunkhouse when guests stop over. Been using them for myself since then, and going to order a few more for out there. Reminds me of sleeping as a kid back in the 60's, nice and warm.
